Bill Portelli Read Bio 
Chief Executive Officer and Chairman
Bill Portelli is CEO and cofounder of CollabNet, the leading provider of solutions for Enterprise Cloud Development that orchestrate hybrid development and deployment across public, private, and on-premise environments. His background includes 30 years of experience in engineering, business, and overall executive management. Just prior to CollabNet, Bill was Senior VP and GM of Cadence Design Systems' global consulting business as well as its Custom Integrated Circuits tools business unit. Since starting CollabNet, Bill and his team have led the Company to the industry leadership position in providing enterprise solutions for collaborative and distributed agile software development in the cloud, including the building of the first front end platform for the industry shift to hybrid cloud development and deployment.
Involved with open source and on-demand provisioning since the late '90s, Bill conceived of and led CollabNet's efforts to extend the best practices of open source software development and SaaS provisioning models into a codified set of agile tools, software development processes, and community best practices to enable industry-changing cost and productivity gains for commercial organizations around the globe.
In recognition of his accomplishments as a leader in global software development, Bill was honored at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, with the Technology Pioneer Award in 2010.
Jim Ensell Read Bio 
Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer
Jim Ensell leads Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, and Online/Cloud Services at CollabNet. In this role, Jim is responsible for driving growth, raising awareness of CollabNet among global business leaders, and building its role as a strategic partner to companies looking to gain global market value from product innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the cloud. He brings more than 25 years of experience in engineering, technology, business, and executive management, with a proven track record of fueling substantial growth in both large and small enterprises. Jim joined CollabNet from rfXcel, a SaaS provider of track and trace supply chain applications, where he was President and COO. Prior to rfXcel, Jim was Senior VP of Marketing and Business Development at Virage Logic, where he ran worldwide marketing, business and corporate development. Before that Jim served in various executive-level business and technology roles at eSilicon Corporation and Cadence Design Systems during their rapid growth periods.
Jim is an industry leading speaker and thought leader on software development in private and public clouds, and the strategic implementation of new business models enabled by cloud-based collaborative development and open source. He focuses his attention on providing executive leadership and management of the Company’s marketing organization including in-bound and out-bound marketing activities worldwide, and in developing synergistic partnerships that can both organically and inorganically accelerate CollabNet’s footprint in the market.
Jim holds an MSEE from the University of Pennsylvania and a BSEE from Villanova University.
Maria Carlile Read Bio 
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Maria Carlile is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for CollabNet. She also is Corporate Secretary and heads the company's Legal and Human Resources functions. Maria brings more than 30 years of multidimensional experience in business, law and technology, representing high technology clients and specializes in software licensing, intellectual property, and corporate mergers and acquisitions. Her background includes being Senior Counsel for Bank of America NT & SA (NYSE: BAC) and Vice President and General Counsel for the Finance Division and co-head of the Asset Securitization Department of Comdisco, Inc (NYSE:CDO) where she negotiated the annual closings of $1.2 billion of private placements, loans, leases, and receivables and structured public pools of asset backed receivable financings.
Carlile is an expert in open source licensing strategies and related business models, is a frequent speaker and writer on these topics, and contributes to strategic thinking in resolving issues affecting the open source community. She is inspired by CollabNet's passion for ideas and innovation and provides leadership to the executive team in establishing best practices for intellectual property protection, organizational development, strategic acquisitions, and corporate governance.
Carlile's law degree is from Boalt Hall, University of California at Berkeley and her undergraduate degree is from Stanford University.
Richard Murray Read Bio 
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Engineering, Operations, and Support
Richard Murray leads all aspects of Products, Technology, Operations, and Support at CollabNet. With over 20 years of industry experience, he has held various technical and executive positions. Just prior to joining CollabNet, Richard was at Reuters where he led both their West Coast development centers and where he transformed worldwide engineering by pioneering its move to a standard, cloud based development platform.
Richard’s passion for organizational transformation led him to CollabNet where his deep experience, combined with CollabNet’s portfolio, has driven development transformation right across the industry. Since joining CollabNet in 2005 Richard has significantly broadened its portfolio of products helping to drive a 10X growth in customer count as well as propelling Subversion and TeamForge to analyst rated leadership positions. He also led the successful acquisition and integration of ScrumWorks, the industry leading project management product for Agile/Scrum teams. Richard has built on CollabNet’s position as a cloud/SaaS pioneer by scaling its SaaS service to the point where there are over 1M users running in CollabNet’s development cloud.
Tom Clark Read Bio 
Chief Financial Officer
Tom Clark joined CollabNet in 2004 with more than 20 years experience as a financial executive across a variety of industries. He is a goal oriented finance leader with a proven ability to cultivate productive relationships, influence corporate results, and provide strategic financial insight.
Clark is a frequent speaker on the topic of SaaS business models and its return on investment for the enterprise and has successfully orchestrated mergers, acquisitions, and financings exceeding one billion dollars in transaction value.
Prior to joining CollabNet, Clark worked for seven years at ProBusiness Services, now Automatic Data Processing (NYSE:ADP), most recently as director of finance where he was instrumental in identifying new market opportunities focused on accelerating top line growth. Prior to ProBusiness Services, Clark was with KPMG LLP.
Clark, a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California, holds a BS in Business Administration from Saint Mary's College of California.
Tony Farinaro Read Bio 
Senior Vice President, Services
Tony Farinaro has a history of building and leading world class services teams in the areas of project management, systems design, IC design, and software development for companies across a broad array of industries, including military, aerospace/defense, medical instrumentation and monitoring, communications, security, industrial, and consumer. Most recently Tony was VP and General Manager of Global Services at Actel where he led the global services team in providing contract design and methodology services drove business development, managed government contracts to accelerate corporate product development and reduce R&D costs, and utilized his DoD Top Secret Clearance to engage in critical federal programs.
Tony has deep experience in leadership excellence, project management, SDLC processes, and tool implementation consulting. In his role at CollabNet, Tony is responsible for setting the overall go-to-market strategy and vision for CollabNet services and assisting companies in assessing their program management and design processes to transform to a fully integrated and scalable Agile enterprise.
