Position Overview:

Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of CollabNet’s hosted software business made up RedHat Linux running on x86 and Sun Solaris running on Sparc; and contribute to the architectural direction of our environment. This includes administering some of the busiest software development sites in the world, and supporting development systems in multiple locations around the world. The ideal candidate would have previously worked in a 24x7 web environment and be comfortable administering mission-critical systems. This position is also responsible for installs, upgrades and maintenance of customers using CollabNet’s Enterprise Edition, CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise, and CUBiT products.

Requirements:

• A thorough understanding of a UNIX-based operating system; TCP/IP networking; system and network performance tuning, troubleshooting, and security.
• Ability to automate routine system administration tasks in at least one of: Python, Perl, shell. Provide links to code examples if you have them.
• Have substantial experience and depth of knowledge in several areas of system administration, e.g., backups, monitoring, security, storage, networking, performance tuning.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and completely, and document your solutions. Provide links to documentation you’ve written, if you have them.
• Experience with networked server installs using Linux Kickstart and/or Solaris Jumpstart. Should have experience in setting up and maintaining automated system build environments.
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills. Must enjoy being part of a team, and be a team player.
• Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and still complete tasks on time.
• Larger scale system automation using automated tools.
• Experience with Open Source network monitoring tools, specifically Nagios, Big Brother, and Cricket.
• NetApp filer administration experience.

Responsibilities:

• Identify recurring tasks and inefficiencies which require automation and automate them.
• Be available for 24x7 on-call support and occasional trips to our San Jose datacenter.
• Serve as a mentor to more junior staff members.
• Be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

The Inside Sales Representative is a key role in the sales process & directly contributes to the Company's growth. The Representative is responsible for lead qualification and lead management. He/she will be responsible for a revenue quota & will develop opportunities from campaigns, target lists, & marketing efforts. Responsibilities:

• Manage and close deals with Small to Medium sized companies.
• Qualify any inbound or campaign-based calls, lead follow up and referral management.

Position Overview:

The open CollabNet Network (www.collab.net) is the primary platform by which CollabNet touches its customers, prospects, partners and users from the enterprise to the individual developer. open CollabNet represents an online experience where users can browse for product and technical information, establish/join and lead communities of interest, start open source development projects, download software that enables and enhances distributed development (from CollabNet and its partners) via the collabXchange^™ and obtain value-added services such as education, support and consulting. The Director for Technology Partner Development is the main liaison to all ISV, community and other organizations developing technology that enhances or extends the CollabNet Platform. This technology ultimately becomes part of the collabXchange^™.

Responsibilities:

• Establish new and manage existing technology partner relationships.
• Develop and implement a strategy as well as a gap analysis to determine the most appropriate partner relationships.
• Program manage the CollabNet Technology Partner Program inclusive of program requirements, contractual terms and conditions and features/benefits.
• Manage the online marketplace, collabXchange^™ (http://www.collab.net/collabXchange) , including the online experience, the technology acquisition process and the customer/prospect conversion process.
• Lead business development and joint marketing initiatives with CollabNet technology partners that maximize revenue potential for both companies.
• Conduct regular partner briefings to update the CollabNet technology partner community on new initiatives as well as to obtain feedback.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the competition and strategies for CollabNet to be an industry leader in (online) partner building.
• Track and deliver partner metrics and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Work with the open CollabNet Managing Editor and Community Manager in prioritizing new content and community elements to support and benefit partners; work with the CollabNet Sales Channel Director to insure synergy between programs.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years business and partner development experience in an enterprise software company.
• Knowledge of innovative strategies for maximizing online partner interactions including application exchanges.
• Knowledge of web analytics and reporting.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences.
• Subject matter aptitude relevant to the role of software development; experience a plus.
• Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams that include engineering, marketing, sales and operations.
• Ability to interact effectively with executive management.
• BA/BS required (degree in technical/communications field preferred); Masters degree a plus (in Computer Science, Communications or Business).

Requirements:
