      VMware Studio 2.0 System Requirements

      VMware Studio 2.0 requires one of the following virtualization products as a provisioning engine:

      • VMware ESX/ESXi 4.0 and 3.5 U3 through VMware vCenter Server 4
      • VMware ESX/ESXi 3.5 U3 through VMware VirtualCenter 2.5 U3
      • VMware ESX/ESXi 4.0
      • VMware ESX/ESXi 3.5 U3
      • VMware Workstation 6.5.1
      • VMware Server 2.0
      • VMware Server 1.0.4, 1.0.5, or 1.0.6

      Supported Product Platforms

      Virtual appliances and vApps created by VMware Studio can run on these supported product platforms:

      • VMware vCenter Server 4
      • VMware VirtualCenter 2.5 U3
      • VMware ESX/ESXi 4.0
      • VMware ESX/ESXi 3.5 U3
      • VMware Workstation 6.5.1
      • VMware Server 2.0
      • VMware Server 1.04, 1.05, or 1.06
      • VMware Player 2.04 and 2.5

      VMware Studio 2.0 web console supports these browsers:

      • Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0
      • Mozilla Firefox 2.0.14, 2.0.16 or Mozilla Firefox 3.0

      VMware Studio supports virtual appliances and vApps of the following operating systems:

      • CentOS 5.3 (32-bit and 64-bit), 5.2 (32-bit and 64-bit), 5.0 (32-bit)
      • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.3 (32-bit and 64-bit), 5.2 (32-bit and 64-bit), 5.1 (32-bit)
      • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 10 SP2 (32-bit and 64-bit)
      • Ubuntu 8.04.1, 8.04, 7.10, 7.04 (all 32-bit)
      • Windows 2008, 2003 Server - (32-bit and 64-bit)
