There are several new enhancements for Project Tracker in the latest CollabNet Enterprise Edition release. This article describes some of the more important ones.
Creating project scoped saved queries is covered as part of the availability topic. The advanced query document discusses user-specific queries which give different results based on the user running the query. Putting these two together, a Project Owner can define many useful queries and make it easy for other users in their project to keep informed about the artifacts of which they need to be aware.
When creating project-saved queries that contain the criteria, it is a good practice to use a common term within the query name to help users distinguish them from other project scoped queries which have common results for everyone who runs them. One possibility is to prefix these queries with "My," for example:
Open artifacts
My open artifacts
Artifact due in Milestone 2
My artifacts due in Milestone 2
Other conventions may be used, such as an "assoc. ME" suffix.
