CollabNet Desktop - Eclipse Edition (CDEE) is a freely downloadable set of plugins that CollabNet provides for the Eclipse IDE. This integration works with and is part of all CollabNet products: CollabNet Subversion, CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise, CollabNet Enterprise Edition and CollabNet CUBiT. CDEE allows developers to access any of the CollabNet Platform components that they use from within the Eclipse development environment.
**Breaking news: CollabNet has released the latest version of CDEE under the terms of the Eclipse Public License (EPL), an OSI-compliant Open Source license.
Johannes Nicolai has been diligently working on a new project: "CSFE Workflow Extractor Tool" to help improve the future development of CSFE's tracker.
Seeing how current CSFE features are actually used is a great way of honing software usability. As such, Johannes developed an Open Source CSFE Workflow Extractor Tool that will automatically extract the tracker workflow configuration of your system and store it within an XML file. This XML file will not contain any tracker items, only your workflow configuration.
To help shape the Future of CSFE, take part in a survey about the new tracker workflow functionalities, and use the workflow extractor tool. After you've created an XML file, gzip it and send to panama@collab.net
Join this live demo of CSFE 5.0 to learn: How to connect disparate, heterogeneous tools and systems together with an integrated toolset; how to set up a centralized repository, using Subversion® ; and how to realize accelerated development and substantial cost savings.
In this webcast, Rich Wolverton, Applications Architect in the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), described how his team is deploying CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise to effectively manage multiple development projects, each with its own set of specific workflows and requirements, within a single web-based platform.
