Flint has extensive experience leading innovative software companies and has an exceptional track record of accelerating growth through product innovation and sales execution. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of AccelOps, a provider of a leading IT operations analytics platform for cloud and virtualized infrastructures. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of Tidal Software, a leading application automation software solution provider, which later was acquired by Cisco. After the Cisco acquisition, Mr. Brenton served in various follow-on capacities, including Vice President of Advanced Services and as Senior Vice President of Engineering for Cisco’s cloud-based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) software offerings. At both AccelOps and Tidal Software, Mr. Brenton more than tripled sales under his tenure while focusing both companies on disruptive product introductions.
During his 25-year career, Mr. Brenton also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of NetIQ’s Security and Administration business unit and has held various leadership positions at NetIQ, Compaq Computer Corporation, BMC Software, and IBM. He received a master’s in business and public management from Rice University and a bachelor of science degree from Mount Union College.
Amir’s experience ranges across a number of public and private software (SaaS & Enterprise) and networking firms, along with deep international. He takes a holistic view of a business, having managed a wide range of fiscal and administrative functions to support the introduction of dozens of new products from a concept stage to commercialization. Amir has executive experience with entrepreneurial firms as well as Fortune 1000 companies such as Precise Software, Aperto Networks, Resumix Magic.
Tony Farinaro has built and led teams in project management, systems design, IC design, and software development for the military, aerospace/defense, medical instrumentation and monitoring, communications, security industries. Tony was VP and General Manager of Global Services at Actel where he led the global services team.
In his role as CMO, Khim works with the team on all aspects of marketing, including lead generation, product and corporate marketing. Khim brings product marketing and management experience from his time with global LED player Philips Lumileds and was a management consultant with McKinsey & Co prior to that. Khim is a member of Vector Capital’s Value Creation team.
Andy has in excess of 20 years experience in the software development tools, process, and IT operations automation market across EMEA. He has successfully worked for software start up organisations and some of the largest IT companies in the world building a market presence, developing channels and creating highly effective sales and technical teams. During his career at Rational Software, Borland, Togethersoft and Agitar he has developed a deep understanding of what it takes for companies to successfully build software of a high quality at scale in a geographically distributed model. This combined with his experience in the IT operations and infrastructure market gained while working with Cisco and IBM provides a practical insight into how companies can successfully implement DevOps.
Kevin Hansen is the Senior APAC at CollabNet. He brings over 15 years of
experience in technology sales and marketing, with an international business development background for software
organizations. He has previously served as business development advisor for Hitachi Solutions where he was responsible
for integrating new technologies into the Hitachi System portfolio of partner organizations. Prior to that he has also
held senior positions with other US based technology company promoting software solutions to customers across the APAC
region. Kevin is fluent in Japanese.
Rob is Managing Director at Vector Capital. Rob’s areas of expertise include enterprise software, infrastructure software, public company investing and corporate spinouts. He sits on the Board of Cambium Networks, Inc . which he spun out of Motorola Solutions in 2011, Corel Corporation, which he took private in 2010, and Idera, Inc. which he combined with Precise Software in 2013. Prior to its acquisition by Idera, Rob was also a director of Precise Software Solutions, Inc.
Ariel is a Principal at Vector Capital, where he leads the Value Creation Team. He works alongside the Investment Team at Vector and great Management Teams at the portfolio companies designing winning business strategies, and making it happen. Ariel has significant experience running strategic and operational transformations across technology businesses.
Jason’s background includes decades of executive experience within software, mobile and cloud systems management industries. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of Automic Software, a global leader for IT process automation.
Bill Portelli is Chairman of the Board and cofounder of CollabNet. Bill has been a business innovator in open source, globally distributed software development and on-demand provisioning since the late '90s. Bill's background includes 30+ years of experience in creating businesses and driving startups to rapid growth through to successful IPO and acquisition, as well as executive staff leadership in billion dollar companies. He has consistently conceived of and led teams to deliver client-enabling IT strategies, products and services in both the hardware and software industries. In recognition of his accomplishments as a leader in global software development, Bill was honored at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, with the Technology Pioneer Award in 2010.
David is a Managing Director at Vector Capital and is responsible for the firm’s deal origination efforts. Prior to joining Vector, David was most recently a Managing Director at Piper Jaffray and prior to that worked at RBC Capital Markets and Cowen & Co.
