CollabNet to present at SDForum’s Software as a Service conference in Santa Clara March 22

BRISBANE, Calif., March 23, 2005 — CollabNet, the leading provider of on demand distributed software development solutions, today announced that Brian Behlendorf, founder and CTO of CollabNet, will present at SDForum’s Software as a Service (SaaS) Conference to be held March 22 in Santa Clara, California.

Behlendorf will moderate the "Technology and Engineering Best Practices" panel. The panel includes Joe Kraus, CEO and founder at Jotspot, Mike Myer, vice president product development at RightNow Technologies, Nagi Prabhu, vice president engineering at Intacct, and Jacob Taylor, vice president engineering at Sugar CRM.

CollabNet has been delivering its distributed development environment as a service since 1999. This model has allowed the company to provide customers with the flexibility necessary to build out IT infrastructures cost-effectively.

"SaaS is now becoming fully entrenched as a viable option for enterprises for every size," said Behlendorf. "SDForum provides a unique opportunity for the industry to see first-hand the emerging value of SaaS. I hope to be able to further illustrate this value through real-world CollabNet SaaS experience from the past six years."
