BRISBANE, Calif., Oct. 28, 2010 — CollabNet®, the leader in Agile application lifecycle management ( Agile ALM) in the Cloud, announced today that it will sponsor the Subversion MeetUp at ApacheCon North America 2010. The event features an open agenda aimed at bringing together developers and users of Subversion to improve the project and the software it produces. CollabNet’s Chief Technology Officer Jack Repenning, Senior Software Engineer/Version Control Team Leader Mike Pilato, and Subversion Practice Manager Bob Jenkins are scheduled to attend. Discussion topics will include the Apache Software Foundation and the Subversion roadmap.
CollabNet founded the industry-leading Subversion open source project in 2000 and remains the project’s principal sponsor. Prior to the acquisition, CollabNet hosted more than 3,250,000 Subversion users as part of its enterprise Cloud services, provided more than 200 Subversion clients, servers, and plug-ins, delivered dozens of Subversion and Agile Web-based and instructor-led courses, and offered many other community-related services as part of its 600,000 member openCollabNet community.
