openCollabNet in 2009
It's a new year at openCollabNet, and we have many great things in store for our community. We released the current OCN on April 30, 2008, and we're not resting on our laurels. From a new web site layout, to more Open Source projects from CollabNet and third parties, to Subversion 1.6 and Subversion Community events, we look forward to serving you this year. Look in future editions of this newsletter for more details on each.
If you have questions or suggestions about things you would like to see, drop a line to the OCN team.
Subversion Community Day at SCALE
We are excited to announce Subversion Community Day for users and developers at the Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE) on February 20 in Los Angeles, CA. This is one of many ways CollabNet supports the Subversion project and engages with Subversion users and enthusiasts. We are currently taking submissions for talks on the following topics:
- Real-world Subversion usage
- Developing with Subversion APIs
- Subversion and system administration
- Integrating with other developer tools
- New features in Subversion 1.6
- Anything interesting related to Subversion
Send us your abstract by January 31, 2009, consisting of a
description with 500 words or less, your name, and contact info so that
we may reach you.
>> Submit abstracts in the Submissions Forum or mail to submit@svn-summit.open.collab.net Registration is $10 and is open now.

Adventures in Social Media: Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube
openCollabNet is going social. Right now, you can follow our updates on Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube. Look for more news, photos, and videos to come your way in 2009 - and beyond.
New Technology Partners: SourceIQ and WinMill
We would like to welcome SourceIQ to our Technology Partner program. SourceIQ analyzes the treasure trove of process and code data maintained in Subversion, producing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in four critical areas: code quality, code volume and volatility, team contribution, and governance.
WinMill is the second partner we've added recently. WinMill is the premier resource
for systems development and integration, expert technology consulting,
certified classroom training, quality assurance, technology infrastructure,
and software and hardware resale.
