CollabNet Acquires Danube

On February 22, 2010, CollabNet announced the acquisition of Danube Technologies, a leader in Scrum processes, software, and training. This is great news for our users and for the software development community, Danube is an active pioneer and leader in the Scrum and Agile communities. Danube is a true industry leader in Scrum management solutions, with more:

  • Certified Scrum Trainers than any other organization in the world
  • Scrum project management tool users than any other company in the world (more than 150,000)
  • Scrum Masters trained than any company in the world (6,500)

We plan to fully leverage Danube’s Agile and Scrum expertise for our users, although we will obviously continue to support all development and project management methods.
