CollabNet offers Scrum training around the world, in both public and private settings, to advance participants' understanding and practice of Scrum. They include:
Private Courses and Coaching Services
In addition to all of the courses listed below, CollabNet trainers are available for on-site courses and mentoring that can be tailored to an organization's unique needs in their agile transformation.
Certified ScrumMaster: CSM+ (Public and Private)
This is a three-day course which starts with the principles and practices of Scrum provided in our two-day course and then adds to these core fundamentals. This course fulfills the requirement for Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification. http://www.collab.net/services/training/agile/scrummaster-certification-csm
PMI-ACP Exam Preparation (Public and Private)
This is a three-day course on the fundamentals of Agile and preparation for the PMI-ACP exam. This course will prepare participants for both the Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certifications. http://www.collab.net/services/training/agile/pmi-acp-exam-preparation
The CSM certificate is granted to those who have successfully completed a CSM course from a Certified Scrum Trainer and who have completed the Scrum Alliance CSM exam*. This is a 2 step process:
First, find and register for a Certified ScrumMaster course in your area. All of CollabNet's public courses are taught by Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainers. A complete schedule of courses can be found here: http://www.collab.net/services/training/agile
Within 2 weeks of successful completion of the CSM course, participants will receive an email from the Scrum Alliance with a log-in and invitation to complete the Scrum Alliance CSM exam*. Upon successful completion of the exam*, attendees will receive their Certified Scrum Master certificate and a complimentary 2 year membership to the Scrum Alliance.
Many customers tell us that they chose CollabNet as their agile training provider because we have trained more CSMs worldwide than any other Scrum Alliance Registered Training Facility. Our trainers draw on a breadth of real world experience, having led thousands of organizations through their Scrum transformations - from small businesses to multinational organizations.
All of CollabNet's public and private Agile certification courses are conducted by Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainers. CollabNet's CSTs are well known thought leaders in the Scrum community who speak regularly at industry conferences and contribute content to leading agile journals and publications. For more information on CollabNet trainers, visit their blogs to read more about their thoughts on Scrum: http://blogs.collab.net/agile/ or read their profiles at http://www.collab.net//services/training/instructors.
CollabNet is a Certified Scrum Alliance Registered Education Provider. In addition to meeting the Scrum Alliance certification eligibility requirements and a 2 year membership in the Scrum Alliance, CollabNet's CSM and CSPO courses each provide 14 PMI PDUs. Our PMI-ACP and CSM+ courses each provide 21 PMI PDUs.
To claim your PDUs following the successful completion of a CollabNet Course, log into your PMI account at www.pmi.org. Select the Report PDUs Menu Option on your myPMI Home Page and follow the instructions to submit your PDU claim under the Course or Training Activity. For further questions about the PDU process contact PMI directly at www.pmi.org.
This is a two-day course intended for anyone involved in the Scrum development process: i.e. developers, project managers, architects, technology consultants, business analysts, ScrumMasters, and Product Owners. Other functional stakeholders that work with Scrum technical teams also find the course valuable (executives, sales/marketing, finance, HR).
This is a two-day course intended for product owners, business analysts, management and executives. The Certified Product Owner Course does not require that students have completed the Certified ScrumMaster course first.
CollabNet offers private CSM, CSPO, and a variety of training courses and coaching services customized to an organization's needs. For more information on these offerings contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Full refunds are available up until 10 business days before the scheduled event date. Cancellations made within 10 business days of the event will be credited toward future events. However, no refunds will be issued. Rescheduling course attendance will be subject to a transfer fee. Substitutions will be accepted at any time prior to commencement of the course. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the course must be attended within 6 months of the participant's original sign-up date, and no refunds or credits will be available for participants who fail to attend a course within this six-month period. No refunds or credits will be available for participants that fail to attend both days of the course.
As an added value to course participants, CollabNet reserves two seats at each of its public courses for individuals who have already successfully completed a course from us, but would like to take it a second time at no cost. This allows participants to brush up on their Scrum basics or attend a session led by a different Certified Scrum Trainer. The offer is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and must be used for the same course as the original (i.e., an individual who completed a CSM course may enroll in another CSM course, but not a Product Owner course). In addition, this offer is only available within the first six months following the original course, so please contact us as early as possible to reserve your seat.
