CollabNet and Industry Partners to Host Half-Day Agile, DevOps and Software Security Seminar Based on DoD Forge.mil Program
Educational event will provide best practices and share latest software trends for IT and engineering professionals
Industry partners Carahsoft and Automic Software will join with CollabNet to host a half-day seminar focused on achieving breakthrough performance with Agile and DevOps. The invitation-only event is based on lessons learned from the highly successful Department of Defense development platform, Forge.mil. The event will feature speakers who successfully transitioned mission-critical projects to the Forge.mil development and community platform offered by Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The following topics will be covered in depth through various sessions:
Brown will discuss Agile software in the development phase. He will provide insights about Agile engineering challenges from the often overlooked development and design perspective.
Kwentus will dissect the changes that are required to build a high-performing DevOps organization. She will highlight automation capabilities, which are key requirements for continuous integration servers, environment provisioning and configurations, all the way up the stack to application layers.
Reynolds will present practical Forge.mil customer case study testimonials. These case studies will focus on the development challenges that led to the selection of Forge.mil, the ongoing program management activities driving the usage of Forge.mil, and the resulting impact and benefits of Forge.mil to the organization.
Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 7:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Central Time
