SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Feb. 7, 2017 – CollabNet, a global leader in enterprise software development and release management, announced that its CEO Flint Brenton was selected by the 2016 Golden Bridge Awards as Executive of the Year in the IT software category. This award recognizes executives for their contributions to the industry and impact on their organizations.
Under Brenton’s leadership, the company has enjoyed accelerating growth rates for both revenue and profitability, while achieving record earnings for the past two years. In parallel, the company has set the stage for future growth by delivering powerful innovative solutions in the fast-growing DevOps marketplace. Solid increases in customer satisfaction drove renewal rates to an all-time record, exceeding 92 percent for the year.
The company’s passionate commitment to innovation led to other awards in 2016, including a Best of Interop Award in the applications category for innovation in application lifecycle management and DevOps. It was also recognized in the SD Times 100 List for the 13th consecutive year as Best in Show in the application lifecycle management and development tools category.
Brenton has also led the company in giving back to the community, pioneering a partnership with #YesWeCode. This Dream Corps initiative helps to provide technology training for young adults in communities of color. Brenton’s vision for donating Agile training classes, certifying Coding Corps members as ScrumMasters and developing community college curriculums has inspired the company with a spirit of generosity and incredible enthusiasm for these initiatives.
