Get Started with CloudBackup for Apache™ Subversion®
Note: The steps below explain how to migrate your repositories to the cloud. If you want to backup to the cloud, see this link instead.
Make sure you are running Subversion Edge 3.0 or higher. If you are new to Subversion Edge, download it here for free. If you are running an older version, simply install the update directly from your Subversion Edge console.
Export your Subversion repositories, by creating dump files. From the ‘Repository List’ menu, check the repositories you want to migrate, choose ‘Dump’ and follow the directions.
From the ‘Administration’ tab, select the ‘Cloud Services’ option. You now have the option to sign up for CloudForge services. Choose the ‘CloudForge – 30 Day Free Trial’ option, and on the next screen provide your credentials. (If you already have a CloudForge account, then just log in now). Your account will be activated automatically; you will also receive an email notification. Once in CloudForge, follow the on-screen instructions to setup a Subversion repository and to import Subversion dump files.
