Certified ScrumMaster Experience (3 days) (Public and Private)
The 3 day Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Experience takes a more comprehensive, in-depth approach to the CSM training. It is designed for those who want additional time learning how to apply the Scrum principles taught in the CSM course to real world situations. This course fulfills the requirement for Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.

The CSM certificate is granted to those who have successfully completed a CSM course from a Certified Scrum Trainer and who have passed the Scrum Alliance CSM exam*. This is a 2 step process:

First, find and register for a Certified ScrumMaster course in your area. All of CollabNet's public courses are taught by Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainers. A complete schedule of courses can be found here

Within 1 weeks of successful completion of the CSM course, participants will receive an email from the Scrum Alliance with a log-in and invitation to complete the Scrum Alliance CSM exam*. Upon successful completion of the exam*, attendees will receive their Certified Scrum Master certificate and a complimentary 2 year membership to the Scrum Alliance.

CollabNet is a Certified Scrum Alliance Registered Education Provider. In addition to meeting the Scrum Alliance certification eligibility requirements and a 2 year membership in the Scrum Alliance, CollabNet's CSM and CSPO courses each provide 14 PMI PDUs. Our PMI-ACP and CSMe courses each provide 21 PMI PDUs.

To claim your PDUs following the successful completion of a CollabNet Course, log into your PMI account at www.pmi.org. Select the Report PDUs Menu Option on your myPMI Home Page and follow the instructions to submit your PDU claim under the Course or Training Activity. No. Course attendees come from a variety of experience levels with Scrum. We find that people take the course for a variety of reasons, for example:

This is a two-day course intended for anyone involved in the Scrum development process: i.e. developers, project managers, architects, technology consultants, business analysts, ScrumMasters, and Product Owners. Other functional stakeholders that work with Scrum technical teams also find the course valuable (executives, sales/marketing, finance, HR).

The CSPO course will teach you the essentials of working as a Scrum Alliance Certified Product Owner (CSPO) during two days of interactive exercises, lecture and discussion. Course topics include:

CollabNet offers private CSM, CSPO, and a variety of training courses and coaching services customized to an organization's needs. For more information on these offerings contact scrumtraining@collab.net.
Full refunds are available up until 10 business days before the scheduled event date. Cancellations made within 10 business days of the event will be credited toward future events. However, no refunds will be issued. Rescheduling course attendance will be subject to a transfer fee. Substitutions will be accepted at any time prior to commencement of the course. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the course must be attended within 6 months of the padobarticipant's original sign-up date, and no refunds or credits will be available for participants who fail to attend a course within this six-month period. No refunds or credits will be available for participants that fail to attend both days of the course.

As an added value to course participants, CollabNet reserves two seats at each of its public courses for individuals who have already successfully completed a course from us, but would like to take it a second time at no cost. This allows participants to brush up on their Scrum basics or attend a session led by a different Certified Scrum Trainer. The offer is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and must be used for the same course as the original (i.e., an individual who completed a CSM course may enroll in another CSM course, but not a Product Owner course). In addition, this offer is only available within the first six months following the original course, so please contact us as early as possible to reserve your seat.
