The SAFe® 5 Agilist certificate is granted by Scaled Agile, Inc to those who have taken a Leading SAFe®  course from CollabNet VersionOne and who pass the online test. It's a four-step process:

  1. Develop the recommended experience (see Preparing for the Course)
  2. Attend a Leading SAFe® course
  3. Take the practice exam
  4. Obtain your SAFe® 5 Agilist certification after completing the course and passing the exam

You will receive specific information on registering for the certification exam in the follow-up email after your course.

All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe® 5 Agilist (SA) certification exam:

  • 5+ years’ experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management
  • Experience in Scrum

We are committed to your success in Agile. As part of this commitment, each of our trainers will share with you their contact information for the purpose of continuing assistance. You can communicate following the class, asking questions, and seeking their advice on specific situations that come up during your Agile work.

Additionally, if certification by Scaled Agile is important to you, we will work with you to help you pass the certification exam. More than 97% of our students pass the certification exam on the first try. Taking the test is easy - simply follow the instructions that come in the class follow-up email. If you want additional preparation before the course or if you want to discuss the results of the exam, simply contact your trainer.

Finally, as an added value to course participants, CollabNet VersionOne reserves two seats at each of its public courses for individuals who have already successfully completed a course from CollabNet VersionOne but would like to take it a second time at no cost. This allows participants to explore Leading SAFe® more deeply or attend a session led by a different Leading SAFe® Trainer. The offer is provided on a first-come, first served basis, and must be used for the same course as the original (i.e., an individual who completed a Leading SAFe® course may enroll in another Leading SAFe® course). This offer is available for six months following the original course, so please contact CollabNet VersionOne as early as possible to reserve your seat.

Full refunds are available up until 10 business days before the scheduled event date. Cancellations made within 10 business days of the event will be credited toward future events, however, no refunds will be issued. Rescheduling course attendance will be subject to a $150 transfer fee. Substitutions will be accepted at any time prior to the commencement of the course. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the course must be attended within 6 months of the participant 's ™ original sign-up date, and no refunds or credits will be available for participants who fail to attend a course within this six-month period. No refunds or credits will be available for participants who fail to attend both days of the course.
